What To Take. Music Festival!

My 20-year-old son is going to the NASS festival on the 8th July 2016 for the whole weekend. He is so excited and I hope he keeps safe, and I wish I could join him, not only to keep an eye on him but also to join in. Although the only way you would get me at a festival camping is by Glamping!

NASS festival is on for three days playing Drum n' Bass, Hip Hop, Dance and Grime. The festival includes high-octane action sports, Incredible skateboarding and BMXing and of course some of the worlds best in the NASS Pro Park and Vert competitions will be there to show off their skills

I thought I would write a list of all the things to take to a Nass Festival as I will be making sure my Son goes well prepared.

  • Pop up camping tent

  • Air bed

  • Blow up pillow

  • Camping stool or chair

  • Sleeping bag

  • Loads of baby wipes

  • Toilet rolls

  • Dry shampoo

  • Body spray and antiperspirant

  • Condoms

  • Empty drinks bottle (NASS have fresh water taps to fill up at)

  • Makeup

  • Clothes

  • Cheap mobile phone

  • Disposable camera

  • Drinks and snacks (remember food at festivals is expensive so take as much as you can manage)

  • Hair brush

  • Toothbrush toothpaste and mouthwash

  • Painkillers and sickness, stomach, hangover medicines

  • If you suffer from hay fever remember your medication!

  • Sick bags

  • Umbrella

  • Wellies and rain mac

  • Torch

  • Money

  • An old suitcase with wheels to put it all in

  • And of course remember your NASS ticket!

  • Try and spend as little as you can on everything as it will all get really dirty and you might want to leave most of the big things there at the end of the weekend!

Just think how much it would cost to stay at a hotel for 3 nights, my son has spent £16.99 on a tent from B&M, £12 for an airbed from Asda, £4 for fold down stool, £2 for a blow up pillow from Home bargains and £9 for a sleeping bag from The Range, so if you leave it all behind then who cares!

If you are lucky enough to be going to a festival I hope this helps you go prepared!
